The Middle East Times spoke with Toufic Laba Sarkis, a Community leader and public speaker who shares his beliefs that there is great benefit for those who work tirelessly for the benefit of human beings and humanity by implementing values and motivation believing in the importance of the quality of our relationships and connectedness with others regardless of religion or race.

The Middle East Times watched the YouTube video of a sensational speech delivered by Toufic Laba Sarkis on Australia Day and Republic Day of India on 26 January 2014 in the state of Haryana during the annual celebrations of Dera Sasha Sauda (The True Deal) headed by His Holiness Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan (Guru Ji) who has been since 1990 aiming at serving humanity regardless of their religion.

The principles of Dera Sacha Sauda are motivated by kindness and compassion for humans to live a life of dignity. The most important vision of Dera Sacha Sauda is to call every human being to follow the path that leads to God. Dera Sacha Sauda was originally established by Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj (1948- I960) who proclaimed ‘Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra’, which translates to only God is worth praising and we are solely dependent on Him.

Toufic Laba Sarkis, a Community leader and public speaker addresses the crowd  (see Photo) … following from 1960-1990, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj implemented the practical method of meditation, vegetarianism and expanded ashrams and in recognition of his spiritual guidance and quality of leadership and implementation of the true principles of Dera Sacha Sauda, each year the spiritual organisation celebrates His birthday on 25 January where millions gather in Sirsa, Haryana to celebrate his birthday.

The spiritual institution strongly believes that if we all come to know our Satguru, the Supreme Being, Om, Waheguru, Ram, Parmatma, Allah, God, the Eternal, the Infinite Love, The unmoved moving being all expressions used in the world’s religions being what all people believe in.

The philosophy and vision of the spiritual organisation is that “we are all equal and children of one God” whether we are rich or poor, young or old, Christian, Muslim or Hindu, educated or illiterate, tradesperson or academic, we are all called to love, we are all called to be fully human and to be fully human is to love.
